CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Savoeung has been serving as Finance Manager of VisionFund (Cambodia) since late 2007. He has 13 years of work experience starting with a low wage/low skill job at an early age, which has inspired him to this day to excel in areas of personal ad career development. As one of the victims from the Khmer Rough Regime (being an orphan, a victim to polio and the poorest child), he has overcome countless barriers and challenges prior to attaining his current position. In addition to his position, he has contributed his time and talent by serving as the Board of Trustee (volunteer) to 4 local organizations in Cambodia. Those organizations are working to improve the living conditions of HIV/AIDS affected families, disabled people, orphan children, and other marginalized people in Cambodia via informal training, HIV/AIDS Prevention & Home Based Care, Agriculture, and Micro Credit Programs. Savoeung holds Master of Entrepreneurship from Lyon II University, France and Bachelor in Accounting. |
Mr. Savoeung has more than two years of experience purely in the MFI sector with VisionFund (Cambodia) as Finance Manager but his most experience for more than 7 years had been in NGOs as Finance Manager, Project Manager and Capacity Building Officer for the local and international organizations and most of the NGOs he served had the micro-credit program.
