| VisionFund donates to flood victims in Kampong Thom Province |

The donation has been provided to 6 communes consisting of 73 families in Samproch commune, 69 families in Prorlay commune, 59 families in Msa Krong commune, 58 families in Chamnar Kroam commune, 51 families in Kampongchen Jeung commune and 50 families in Preah Domrei commune. Mr. Sok Sotha, VisionFund’s Kampong Thom Provincial Branch Manager stated that there are 8 districts that have been affected by flood including Baray, Sontuk, Kampong Svay, Stong, Prasat Sambor, Prasat Ballang, Sandan and Steung Sen district. The flood has destroyed villagers’ paddy crops, houses and farm animals such as cows, buffaloes, pigs, chickens and ducks. Furthermore, villagers have been infected by diseases such as cholera, diarrhea, dengue fever and many other diseases. Mr. Sok Sotha has also mentioned that among all the flood victims, there are 10 families who are VisionFund’s clients.
