SENIOR OPERATIONS MANAGER
Sampha was the first credit officer in the Micro-Enterprise Development program (MED) of World Vision Cambodia in 2000 which later became VisionFund.
Sampha, born in Battambang province, was promoted to the current position in 2006. He has 12 years of experience in leadership, technical support, management, evaluation, planning and training, project coordination, teaching, hospitality service and marketing research.
While at VisionFund he served as Credit Supervisor and Branch Manager, Deputy Operations Director and Quality Assurance Manager from 2001 to 2006, as part of World Vision’s MED program. From 1996 to 2000, he worked for the NGO, Buddhism for Development, a public secondary school in Battambang, Mororom Hotel in the province, and Angkor Beer Company.
Sampha holds a Master of Business Administration Degree from the Chamroeun University of Poly-Technology, with a major in Business Management. He is currently pursing a Master of Organizational Development in Microfinance Management Degree at SAIDI, and a Doctorate of Business Development at the Build Bright University, Cambodia.
Moreover, he has completed short course studies and paid exposure visits to various countries such as the UK, the Philippines, Sreilanka, India and Thailand.
