In Cambodia, 70 percent of its 14 million people are under 30 years old. Being among the youngest generation in the world, this group faces various challenges, forcing many of them to feel hopeless or uncertain about their future.
Acknowledging the issues, VisionFund, has responded to its corporate social responsibility, by sponsoring workshops meant to inspire young Cambodians.
In 2009, VisionFund sponsored such events with more than 1,000 participants in Phnom Penh, Prey Veng and Kampong Thom provinces.
