VisionFund Microfinance, a leading microfinance institution in Cambodia inaugurated its new office building in Kampong Cham Province officially on April 28, 2015. The event was graced with the honorable presence of H.E Um Phoeurn Kunn Vuth, Deputy Chief of Provincial Governor of Kampong Cham Province and was attended by thousands of national and international guests.
During the inauguration of VisionFund’s new branch office, H.E Um Phoeurn Kunn Vuth said, “Based on the report and the actual results, we commend MFI VisionFund’s efforts to continuously develop its financial services in order to meet market demand. Moreover, it has expanded its operations to all provinces and cities nationwide. The extensive network increases VisionFund’s effectiveness and efficiency in providing financial services to better serve the community. Furthermore, VisionFund has a good relationship with all Government authorities and the people in the community which then ensures its sustainable operational growth.”
He added that the grand opening of this new branch office is further proof that demonstrates the sustainable growth and public recognition of VisionFund in providing its financial services to the communities even more effectively and contributes to the economic development of the Kingdom of Cambodia, especially in the provinces.
“In order to contribute to economic expansion, as well as to help increase employment in the communities, VisionFund has expanded its operations to all provinces and cities nationwide in order to provide a reliable source of capital for improvement of their businesses so as to change the lives of children and their families for the better,” said Mrs. Top Sok Samphea, CEO oic of VisionFund Cambodia.
“Through its 15 years’ history, VisionFund Cambodia has built itself to be a strong financial institution, well poised for sustainable growth. she added. “At the same time, VisionFund is also expanding and introducing more new products. For example, the management information system has extended a new mobile banking system in order to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of financial services provided by VFI and to better serve the community.”

As part of the inauguration celebration, there was the official ribbon cutting ceremony, jointly by, Deputy Chief of Provincial Governor, Provincial Director of the National Bank and Senior Management Staff of VisionFund.
