09 September, 2015: A Memorandum of Understanding signing ceremony for the new partnership between VisionFund Cambodia and Quality Career Institute of Cambodia (QCIC) was held at campus of QCIC, Phnom Penh. There were distinguished guests and representatives from both partners, including Mrs. Top Sok Samphea, Chief Operating Officer of VisionFund Cambodia, Huy Sambo Director of Quality Career Institute of Cambodia and students of QCIC.

Mrs. Top Sok Samphea said she was very honored to announce the partnership with Quality Career Institute of Cambodia. “The collaboration of these two organizations will contribute to the educational sector as well as to support the educational needs of Cambodian youths who, in their pursuit of a better education and brighter future, meet obstacles in financing the purchases of school materials. Through VisionFund’s education loans at an acceptable interest rate of 1.1%, students who are not able to afford the tuition fees are now able to earn an Association Degree at Bachelor or Master level and receive vocational training,” said Mrs. Top Sok Samphea.

QCIC was established in 2014. It offers training courses in Business and Real Estate. It also received recognition from Ministry of Vocational Training to run courses leading to Associate Degrees.

At the signing ceremony, VisionFund also presented its new Savings product, called “Double Safety”.  Saving Deposits with VisionFund will earn an interest rate of up to 12% plus free Health and Life Insurance for up to one year.

Each year, VisionFund Cambodia recruits many students as staff and interns. This enables students to acquire knowledge and develop practical skills. Student from Quality Career Institute of Cambodia will have the opportunity to work with VisionFund.
